Roto-Moulding, A recent technology in plastic process, which has received wide acceptance the world over. With advantages certain to attract both manufacturers and users, roto-moulding has useful applications in conventional and imaginative products lines. The option to create one piece, seamless and stress free plastic products with superior surface finish is here. Products can be gigantic or small, in every conceivable shapes and of utilitarian and even exotic nature. Roto-moulding offers a definite production and cost advantage over other processes.

A SIMPLE AND UNIQUE PROCESS

The process is simple in concept
Anibut.gif (8638 bytes) Heat is used to melt and fuse plastic resin in moulds which rotate in two axes.
Anibut.gif (8638 bytes) No pressure used unlike other processes.


Actual production process is in three stages.

Anibut.gif (8638 bytes) Resin loaded in the mould, fitted on arm head.
Anibut.gif (8638 bytes) Mould moves into heating chamber. where resin melts under high temperature and fuses into inner surface of the moulds.

Anibut.gif (8638 bytes) Moulds transferred to cooling stations, where it is cooled gradually by a combination of cool air and water spray

Finally, the finished product is unloaded and fresh material charged.
